The aim was to evaluate age-related thymus involution in mature rats exposed to the endocrine disruptor DDT during prenatal and postnatal ontogeny. WebThe study was carried out at the stage of early thymus involution. Differences in the thymus morphology associated with imbalance of morphogenetic processes in the cortex and medulla were observed after puberty in rats developmentally exposed to DDT.
